We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Coordinator to oversee intercompany stocks, picking and dispatching. The ideal candidate will have strong organisational skills with a solid understanding of warehouse management systems. This role involves coordinating the flow of materials, ensuring efficient stocking, and maintaining safety standards while supporting the team.
Duties
Operate forklifts and other equipment to load and unload goods safely.
Manage inventory using warehouse management systems, ensuring accurate stock levels are maintained.
Oversee the intercompany picking and dispatching of materials using documented process.
Oversee the picking and packing of orders for shipping, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
Coordinate shipping and receiving processes, including documentation and quality checks.
Handle materials with care, performing heavy lifting as required.
Maintain a clean and organised warehouse environment, adhering to safety regulations.
Assist supervisors in training new staff on warehouse procedures and equipment operation.
Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and improve efficiency.
Ensure Health and Safety standards are always adhered to in line with both statutory legislation and company policies.
Requirements
Previous warehouse experience is essential, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes.
Proficiency in operating forklifts; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems.
Experience in construction or related fields is beneficial.
Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) regularly throughout the shift.
Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for team collaboration.
