Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle heavy lifting as needed. Duties

Operate your own car or delivery van transport goods efficiently and safely. Load and unload items from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling of all products. Navigate routes effectively to meet delivery schedules while adhering to traffic laws. Communicate with warehouse staff and customers regarding delivery status and any potential issues. Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety standards are met. Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including any discrepancies or damages encountered during transport.

Skills

Ability to lift light & heavy items safely and efficiently, demonstrating good physical fitness. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with customers and team members. Familiarity with warehouse operations and logistics processes is advantageous. A valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle being driven is essential. Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently and prioritise tasks effectively.

Pay: 120.00-199.00 per day
