Job Title: Warehouse & Delivery OperativeLocation: BrightonHours: 32 hours per week Salary: 23,296 pro rota (27,600)
We are a small, friendly drinks distribution business based in Brighton, and we're looking for a reliable, proactive individual to join our team as a Warehouse & Delivery Operative.
This varied role involves managing our warehouse operations as well as delivering stock to our customers using our company van.
Key Responsibilities:
Picking and Packing:
Prepare customer orders accurately and efficiently.Stock Management:
Oversee stock rotation, monitor inventory levels, and help with goods in/out.Deliveries:
Make local deliveries to customers using our company van, providing excellent customer service.Manual Handling:
Safely move and handle heavy items, including beer kegs weighing up to 60kg.Warehouse Maintenance:
Keep the warehouse clean, organised, and safe, including light cleaning duties.Working Hours
Monday: 10:00-17:00 (7)
Tuesday: 07:00 - 17:00 (10)
Wednesday: 07:00 - 17:00 (10)
Thursday: 12:00 - 17:00 (5)
Hours can be flexible for the right candidate
Requirements:
Full UK driving license (manual) Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling Good time management and organisational skills Friendly, reliable, and able to work independently
