COMPANY BACKGROUND

Glenrath Farms is a family owned business, situated in the beautiful Scottish Borders, we supply eggs to the major supermarket multiples.

Warehouse Operative

We are looking for dispatch Operatives to join our team within our Egg Packing Station located at Millennium Farm, Cowieslinn.

Duties of Warehouse Operative:

To receive, pick and pack orders for shipment To load and unload delivery vehicles/trailers To rotate, count and keep records of stock To prepare and complete orders for delivery To check for damaged or missing items To build pallets, shippers, bulkers according to product/customer specifications To perform warehouse inventory controls via scanner or through computer To complete relevant paperwork To ensure timely dispatch of goods To move stock around by hand, using lifting gear or a forklift truck
Qualifications of Warehouse Operative:

No experience necessary as we provide the support and encouragement to develop and grow your career Ability to stand on your feet Manual handling: Regular repetitive light, medium and heavy lifting Attention to detail Good communication skills Organised and hardworking, with the ability to work well under pressure. Ability to learn in-house computer system Having your own transport or access to a car is essential due to our location
