Job Description
Job Title: Driver/Loader
Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
Direct Reports: None
Main Purpose of Role:
Load & Unload vehicles as directed. Ensure the cleanliness, orderliness and the safety of the warehouse areas. Assist and follow supervision of the supervisor and manager.
Main List of Activities
Load & Unload vehicles as directed Daily checks on all equipment Follow all PPE site requirements Adhere to all Company & Health & Safety Rules Load vehicles as per loading sheet/ stock check sheet Load & Unload shunts/containers as directed Pick any orders as necessary Re-working and Re palletizing stock Maintain a clean working environment Maintain Stock in a good clean condition Regular stock-taking Ensure all paperwork is completed and returned to operations office Keep the Warehouse Manager informed of any problems
Essential Skills Required
FLT Driver/Loader:
Willingness to work flexibly An approachable manner with good written and communication skills
Reach License (essential)
Pedestrian Truck License (Training can be provided) Other Truck Licenses (training can be provided)Driver experience - essential
Good Attendance and Timekeeping Housekeeping Stay calm under pressureDay Shift 4On-4off - 6:00am-18:00pm
20 days holiday per year - 1 additional day for every 5 years with the company up to 25 years.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.56 per hour
