Any 5 out of 7 - will include working weekends - 40 hours a week - 14:00pm till 22:00pm

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Warehouse FLM to play a vital role coordinating our daily logistics requirements. To succeed in this role, you should have a comprehensive knowledge of supply chain supervisory practices and a demonstrative understanding of warehouse procedures, including storing goods and dispatching orders.




WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?




To directly assist management by reporting on and monitoring the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and performance in your designated area To supervise, implement and coordinate productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames, while always maintaining standards of excellence To track and trace orders using a digital in-house tracking software system, ensuring that records are maintained and kept at optimum level Leading a team and optimise day to day performance , including shift section and shift briefing so that the business targets are met or exceeded KPI Management Build and motivate the team, including recruitment, performance management and ongoing team development Take the initiative to implement solutions and improvements without waiting for problems to arise. This might involve suggesting new processes, tools, or strategies that could benefit the team or organization.

Previous and practical experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader within a logistics environment is essential Comprehensive knowledge of supply chain practices Must have experience in Admin Must have experience on Microsoft office, excel, and word Previous experience of preparation and distribution of volume orders Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages - WMS systems - Microsoft Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to supervise, organise and train direct reports Experience of working in a fast pace environment Able to demonstrate employee engagement
