Warehouse First Line Manager

to join our team at

B&Q

team at

Worksop

. You'll take responsibility for leading a team of Warehouse Operatives during your shift, ensuring safety, service, cost and people management targets are achieved.

This is a full-time, permanent position. You will work

Sunday to Thursday

, and your hours will rotate weekly between

06:00 - 14:00 and 14:00 - 22:00

.

Pay, benefits and more:

You'll be paid a salary of

33,000 - 35,000

per annum, depending upon experience. You'll also receive 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days so you can enjoy a positive work-life balance. What you'll do on a typical day:

Lead a team of Warehouse Operatives to achieve departmental KPIs, deliver daily team briefings and handovers Monitor performance and provide constructive feedback and coaching, supporting cross-training and maintaining a robust skills matrix Enforce Health & Safety standards and safe working practices Control and monitor MHE usage and equipment condition Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiency

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Demonstrable experience within a similar role, experience supervising a team and an operational understanding of a fast-paced transport environment Strong leadership and people management skills, excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Sound understanding of Health & Safety in the workplace Basic PC literacy and experience with Warehouse Management Systems Ability to work flexibly across rotating shifts
