Job Description

As a Warehouse Fulfilment Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth daily running of the warehouse. You will be responsible for picking and packing orders, dispatching items, maintaining a tidy and safe workspace, and learning how our warehouse operates from end to end. Once you are trained and familiar with the working environment in the warehouse, you will also be expected to also help with our product team. This will include dealing with customers' queries via email, phone calls and also assisting with the online business through technical work and building upon the e-commerce side.

We're looking for someone who can understand applications, review basic technical drawings, and confidently guide customers to the correct technical solution.

This is a

part-time position

with the potential to become

full-time in 4 months time

Key Responsibilities



Learn the product range in detail, with full training and support to build technical knowledge of gas struts and related components. Fulfil daily customer orders accurately and efficiently. Prepare and dispatch parcels in line with courier schedules. Learn and understand the full warehouse layout and processes. Assist with incoming goods, stock checking, and restocking shelves. Ensure products are packed safely and labelled correctly. Support inventory management and general warehouse organisation. Follow all health and safety guidelines and maintain high standards at all times.
Support returns processing, troubleshooting, and other customer enquiries tasks to ensure a high standard of satisfaction.

Requirements



Background in

Mechanical or Automotive Engineering

(or a related technical field) with knowledge of industrial products. Familiarity with gas struts is a plus. Previous experience in a warehouse, order fulfilment, or dispatch environment is preferred. Comfortable working in both

technical and warehouse fulfilment environments

, supporting daily operations such as order picking, packing, and dispatch. Strong

attention to detail

and a proactive approach to maintaining a tidy, well-organised warehouse. Familiarity with order processing platforms, ecommerce platforms and inventory/order management systems. Hands-on experience in ecommerce operations and warehouse environments, including order fulfilment, inventory management, and dispatch.
