Your responsibilities
The Role
- This role is working Monday to Friday, day shifts, 37.5 hours per week
- The role will be working with our Warehouse Team, which has roughly 8 team members
- The role is to ensure all products are received through goods inwards, new items are booked against purchase orders, they are picked & packed correctly and distributed to the correct customers
- To supervise the loading/unloading of courier, carrier and freight forwarder vehicles
- To transport goods between sites
- To ensure the yard area is kept clean, tidy and well organised along with clearly marked areas for storing pallets and ensure timely ordering to replenish stocks
Skills and qualifications
- A valid UK driving licence is essential
- A valid forklift licence is essential
- Previous experience of working in a warehouse environment is essential
- A valid pedestrian reach truck is desirable
- Knowledge of Kanban systems is desirable
