Place UK are a British food manufacturer, providing solutions for retailers, manufacturing & co-packing to supplying the highest quality fresh & frozen ingredients.

Part of a team moving and controlling goods and materials across the site.

Promote and support a safe working environment. Adhere to all health and safety requirements at all times. Personally demonstrate the correct safety behaviours, ensuring safe operating practices are followed. Adhere to and ensure all staff adhere to Business Food Safety Standards at all times. Ensure that operations meet statutory requirements, with particular emphasis on safety, hygiene, housekeeping standards, Escalate any potential Food Safety issues immediately. Support FLT drivers with loading and unloading of vehicles using appropriate MHE as trained. Record and communicate information regarding damages, returns and stock rotation so that appropriate action can be taken. Unloading/loading of floor loaded frozen and dry containers. Complete delivery/goods-in notes and ensure accurate records are maintained and recorded. Ensure all relevant daily and weekly checks are completed on time and in full. Ensure accurate stock records are maintained for all warehouse stock including freezer and ambient warehouse. Ensure each pallet is secure for transit and labelled correctly. Work in accordance with safe practices and maintain a clean and tidy area. Carry out scheduled and unscheduled hygiene activity to ensure cleanliness and housekeeping are maintained at all times to agreed standards. Follow prescribed systems of working that ensure the safety of staff, the integrity of the product and in accordance with customer specifications. Report faults, non-compliances, process problems to the appropriate person in a timely manner. Any other factory duties or any other reasonable request as required, such as but not limited to:
checking mixed load containers box by box,

combining part pallets,

disposing of residual stock in timely manner,

handling fallen loads on delivery (i.e. buckets),

de-top pallets as necessary,

Clean site walkways.

Working Hours (which may vary)

40 hours per week - days

30 minute breaks

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.30 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
