is a UK-based manufacturer of high-performance electrical cables based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire. Our Flexishield range is engineered for safety, flexibility and compliance for use in commercial settings, meeting and exceeding the latest UK and EU standards. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive and organised individual to lead our warehouse and dispatch operations.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehouse operations and outbound logistics. You will ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, while maintaining high standards of accuracy, safety, and compliance. The successful candidate will lead the coordination of transportation operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods. This position requires strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Manage daily warehouse operations including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch. Liaise with procurement, production, and customer service teams to ensure timely fulfilment of orders Coordinate logistics and delivery schedules with internal teams and external carriers, ensuring timely deliveries. Maintain accurate inventory records using digital systems (Monitor ERP). Utilise Transportation Management Systems to manage logistics operations and track shipments. Oversee manufacturing material and product stock management, including periodic stock inventory checking. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies Oversee the maintenance and safe use of warehouse equipment Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally in a manufacturing environment. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Familiarity with inventory management systems and dispatch software. Forklift licence (desirable). A proactive, can-do attitude with a focus on continuous improvement. Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate clear interactions within the team and with external partners. Physically capable of manual handling tasks. Flexibility to occasionally work overtime if required.

28k per annum salary. Day shift role (07:30-16:00h Monday-Thursday, 07:30-14:00h Friday) with occasional overtime opportunities. 33 days holiday (including bank holidays and up to 10 days of factory shutdown).
