Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a comprehensive understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and warehouse processes. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient operations, optimising processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and productivity within the warehouse environment.

Responsibilities



Manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping & receiving, inventory management, and order fulfilment. Supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal performance. Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs. Oversee the use of transportation management systems and warehouse management systems to streamline operations. Coordinate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure seamless supply chain activities. Maintain accurate records using ERP systems and AS400 for inventory control and reporting. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the warehouse. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on equipment operation, including forklift usage, and safety protocols. Monitor profit & loss statements related to warehouse operations to identify areas for improvement.

Requirements



Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role with a strong background in logistics. Demonstrated supervisory experience with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively. Familiarity with process improvement methodologies and continuous improvement practices. Proficient in using transportation management systems, ERP systems, and warehouse management systems. Solid understanding of supply chain principles and best practices in shipping & receiving. Previous experience working with 3PL providers is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data related to warehouse operations. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 25,000.00-32,000.00 per year
