Package: 40,000 to 43,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of a wide range of goods and services. This role ensures that productivity targets are met and that all warehouse processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. The Manager leads a team of warehouse staff, coordinates logistics operations, and implements systems to improve effectiveness and compliance.

Key responsibilities



Manage daily warehouse operations to ensure optimal efficiency

Lead and develop the Warehouse team, ensuring they deliver Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) by following the 1-2-1 process and supporting any development needs

Liaise with and support the Transport & Compliance Manager, cover periods of absence effectively

Ensure OTIF (On Time in Full) performance is maintained and any subsequent follow up action is completed

Log & focus on any/all non-conformance incidents, ensure that subsequent root cause analysis is undertaken, and corrective actions are implemented with immediate effect

Ensure the team's workload is managed consistently, working flexibly to move resources in-day to counteract work pressures

Build trust and integrity with business key stakeholders and ensure their expectations are always met

Demonstrate and promote business core values within the team ensuring the team use these values in their day-to-day role

Ensure Health and Safety of team and operational areas remains paramount

Adopt & deliver continuous improvement across all functional areas regardless of owner

Delivery of all Operational KPIs

1-2-1 process reviews are completed to agreed targets for each team member

Co-maintain BRCgs "AA" Accreditation & Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) Certification

Health and Safety Audit is completed monthly and all subsequent follow up actions are remedied in a timely manner

Develop and communicate ideas within the team to relevant stakeholders to improve Warehouse and operational processes within the business

Ensure Bonus's core values; Quality and Innovation, Respect, Honesty and Integrity, Commitment, Accountability are lived and breathed through the team

Take ownership of full cost control across all warehouse functions

Maintain active Personal Development Plans and support the team's delivery of those through active coaching and support

Deliver functional KPIs and within the team and create active action plans to counteract poor performance

Co-manage (Transport Manager) the business BRCgs compliance ensuring all processes and procedures are always followed and the necessary audits are supported

Ensure a high level of Health and Safety is observed within the team's work area and promote ownership by all

Introduce Reward and Recognition processes within the team to identify and promote excellent work

Ensure effective communication is maintained between the various different levels and everyone has access to business performance and metrics

Undertaken ongoing personal development to maximise and unlock full personal potential within the role

Protect and maintain the security of all Company property

Demonstrate continuous improvement across all aspects of accountability

Deliver on all assigned projects to agreed timelines

What we're looking for



Understanding of operational excellence

Ability to lead a team across various streams

Good understanding of ERP systems (Merlin)

Good understanding of Microsoft packages

Strong communication, organisational, and planning skills

National Exam Board in Occupational Safety & Health (NEBOSH), General Certificate in occupational Health & Safety - Level 3

Institute of Occupational Safety & Health - Managing Safety - Level 3
