With the continuous growth of our customs and logistics business and the expansion of our international operations, we are establishing a new site in the United Kingdom and are looking to strengthen our team in Birmingham.

Role Overview



We are seeking an experienced and highly responsible

Warehouse Manager / Logistics Operator (m/f/d)

to lead the setup and operation of a specialized warehouse in Birmingham. The warehouse focuses on the inspection, testing, repair, and handling of lithium battery energy storage cabinets for the automotive sector.

This is a key role within a start-up phase operation in theUK, combining warehouse management, operational setup, compliance, and stakeholder coordination. The successful candidate will play a central role in building up the site and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant operations.

Key Responsibilities?



Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, including inbound, storage, inspection, repair, testing, and outbound processes

Oversee inspection, diagnostics, testing, and repair activities for lithium battery energy storage cabinets used in the automotive industry;

Ensure full compliance with UK health & safety legislation, fire safety regulations, and lithium battery handling standards;

Lead the initial setup of the Birmingham warehouse, including:

Coordination and communication with the landlord and property management;

Selection, procurement, and implementation of warehouse equipment, technical tools, and office facilities;

Establishment of office structures and basic operational processes;

Actively support the overall operational management of the UK entity, including process development and daily administration;

Liaise with UK government authorities, regulators, and external stakeholders to ensure full regulatory compliance;

Serve as a key contact for customers, ensuring service quality and operational alignment;

Utilize and apply logistics and transportation experience to support and coordinate transport-related activities when required;

Develop, implement, and continuously improve warehouse and technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

Skills & Experience Required?



Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Logistics Operator, or similar role, preferably in a technical, automotive, battery, or energy-related environment;

Strong knowledge of UK health & safety regulations, fire safety requirements, and warehouse compliance standards;

Demonstrated ability to set up and manage operations in a start-up or new site environment;

Experience coordinating with landlords, suppliers, service providers, and authorities;

Microsoft Office applications;

Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills;

Proactive, detail-oriented, hands-on, and capable of managing multiple priorities independently;

Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of site operations.
