We are a leading manufacturer of rotational moulding powders, supplying high-quality materials to a broad range of industries.

We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Manager to oversee the daily operations of our warehouse facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing warehouse staff, ensuring efficient logistics processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and quality. This role requires a strong understanding of warehouse management systems, supply chain logistics, and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency.

Duties

Supervise and lead warehouse staff to ensure productivity and adherence to safety protocols. Oversee shipping and receiving processes, ensuring accurate inventory management and timely dispatch of goods. Implement and maintain warehouse management systems (WMS) to optimise inventory control and order fulfilment. Collaborate with third-party logistics (3PL) providers to streamline transportation management and improve service levels. Conduct regular audits of inventory and equipment to ensure compliance with company standards. Identify areas for continuous improvement within warehouse operations, implementing best practices to enhance efficiency. Manage the scheduling of shipments and deliveries, coordinating with suppliers and customers as necessary. Ensure that all warehouse activities are conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar supervisory role within logistics or supply chain environments (manufacturing background preferred). Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems, AS400, transportation management systems, and shipping/receiving processes. Demonstrated ability to implement continuous improvement initiatives that enhance operational performance. Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong leadership capabilities with experience in supervising teams effectively. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Proficient in using standard office software and warehouse technology tools. Comfortable with physical aspects of the role. Forklift licence desirable but not essential.
