Job Description

We are looking for a hands on Warehouse Manager (manual lifting) to ensure the smooth running of our 3 Warehouse units by being pro-active, engaged and knowledgeable of both process and products, with overall responsibility for Warehouse Health and Safety.

Main Purpose of the Role:



Make sure all materials are ready today for tomorrow'sinstallations. Keep the warehouse and yard clean, tidy, and well-organised. Act quickly to solve problems and ensure everything is delivered Right On Time In Full (ROTIF).

Key Duties:Stock & Deliveries:



Order stock and consumables as needed. Organise collections from suppliers based on quantity, size, and timing. Schedule and manage outgoing deliveries. Check all deliveries against notes. Report shortages to the supplier (copy in Accounts). Handle returns properly - log them, store them separately, and notify the supplier and Accounts. Flag any mis-measured goods for possible reuse.

Warehouse Systems & Planning:



Keep T-Cards / CRM up to date to show when all items (Bi-Folds, Frames, Composite Doors, Glass, Ancils) are ready for a plot. Know what stock is available to help with Variations and Cavity Closures. Do a weekly stock take, including goods received and dispatched. Manage warehouse staff, including holiday cover planning. Handle goods-in.

General Site Duties:



Ensure safe and correct manual handling. Manage pallets and stillages - store or dispose of correctly. Keep outside areas tidy and waste separated into correct bins.

Health & Safety:



Make sure all staff work safely and only trained staff use machinery. Maintain forklifts and pallet trucks by organising yearly checks and keeping records. Keep fire exits clear and check fire doors and extinguishers regularly. Organise annual roller door checks. Enforce the company's No Smoking Policy.

Requirements:



Experience in warehouse management (preferably in windows, construction, or manufacturing). Good organisation and leadership skills. Basic computer skills - able to use stock tracking systems. Forklift licence essential.

Pay: 32,500.00-35,000.00 per year
