. The role is a full time, permanent position working 40 hours per week Monday-Friday. As our Warehouse Manager will lead and manage all aspects of warehouse operations within a white goods distribution centre, ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.

site has capacity to store 5,000 pallets and 50,000 large appliances, providing us with the scale to turn our ambitious growth plans into reality. We have an excellent growing team here with access to the latest 2-person handling equipment.

Our ideal Warehouse Manager will have the following skills and experience;
Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally within white goods or large item distribution
Strong leadership and team management skills
Excellent understanding of warehouse systems and inventory control
Knowledge of manual handling and safe working practices
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
IT literate (WMS, Excel, reporting tools)
Desirable Qualifications
IOSH or NEBOSH certification
Forklift licence (Counterbalance and/or Reach)
Lean Six Sigma or similar continuous improvement training
Your key responsibilities as our Warehouse Manager will be to;
Oversee daily warehouse operations including goods-in, storage, picking, loading, and dispatch
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
Manage and develop warehouse staff, including supervisors, operatives, and drivers
Monitor and improve operational KPIs such as accuracy, efficiency, and delivery performance
Coordinate with transport and customer service teams to ensure timely and accurate deliveries
Implement and maintain inventory control systems and procedures
Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational performance
Ensure proper handling and storage of white goods to prevent damage and maintain product integrity
Manage staffing levels, shift planning, and resource allocation
Conduct regular audits and risk assessments
Support onboarding and training of new team members
