Job Description

Are you an experienced Warehouse Manager looking to take charge of a fast-paced, dynamic environment?

Shatchi Ltd, leading Importers and Distributors of Seasonal Products are seeking a proactive and hands on Warehouse Manager to lead our warehouse team and ensure that our warehouse runs like a well-oiled machine.

Based mainly at our Cambridge site you will be required from time to time to work at our Hitchin Head Office and warehouse.

What you'll do:



Oversee day to day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing and shipping.

Manage and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing training, support and performance management.

Ensure inventory accuracy and implement efficient stock control procedures.

Maintain Health and Safety standards in line with company and legal requirements.

Continuously review processes to identify areas for improvement and cost efficiency.

Liaise with logistics partners and internal teams to meet delivery deadlines.

What we are looking for:



Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory or management role.

Strong leadership and communications skills

Good computer skills including proficiency in Excel and Word.

Knowledge of inventory control

Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Excellent organisational and problem solving skills

Forklift certification is a plus

A full UK Driving licence is essential.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-13.21 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
