We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated
Warehouse Manager
to oversee our warehouse operations. The Warehouse Manager will be responsible for overseeing the efficient and effective running of our UK warehouse. This includes ensuring the timely processing and shipping of orders, maintaining productivity, managing facility upkeep, and supporting a safe, compliant, and well-functioning environment. You will lead a team of associates, drive operational excellence, and handle the day-to-day and long-term maintenance of the warehouse building and equipment.
Responsibilities
Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring timely fulfilment of orders in line with contractual service levels.
Ensure all picking, packing, and shipping functions are completed daily including zeroing flagged, claimed, and completed orders before day's end.
Monitor operational KPIs and implement action plans to improve throughput, accuracy, and efficiency.
Liaise with inventory teams to manage stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and execute effective inventory control procedures.
Recruit, train, coach, and manage warehouse staff to foster high performance, accountability, and morale.
Collaborate with customer service to resolve fulfillment issues or delivery delays in a timely and professional manner
Develop clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and development opportunities.
Ensure the site remains compliant with all local UK laws and company policies related to employment, operations, and building codes.
Requirements
Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar role within supply chain operations.
Experience in supervising teams and managing staff performance.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes, as well as inventory control techniques.
Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong problem-solving abilities with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
