Job Description

We are currently looking to recruit a Warehouse Mapper for our customer Segen, in Medway - Hoo St Werburgh.


This is an exciting opportunity which will allow the right candidate chance to be part of a fast paced and challenging logistics environment working to own the mapping of SKUs and locations ensuring the layout of the warehouse is efficient through the monitoring of productivity, pick runs and minimal travel times in line with health and safety regulations. The role will also provide support to various on going site projects.


Shift pattern: Monday-Friday, 08:00-16:00


Duties and responsibilities

:


Be responsible for own as well as others Health and Safety while on site. Ensure every SKU and pallet is correctly mapped to designated locations to ensure they are safely putaway. Carry out regular racking walks of pallet Racking checking for pallet placement, housekeeping, Health and safety concerns and feedback any issues to ensure corrective action is taken. Undertake varied data analysis on range e.g., highest picked, commonly picked together articles etc to ensure optimal efficiency in layout, pick run and key productivities. To be used in mapping changes, and CI projects. Completion of daily and weekly capacity reports. Ownership of site Mapping documents. Attendance to weekly Stock & KPI meetings to ensure review of high damage/missing articles from a mapping perspective and any changes to layout are carried out, monitored, and fed back. Own monthly mapping meetings with operatives to engage and communicate mapping changes and ideas Management of racking (Reporting to the mapper damages / Mapper also to manage racking damage corrections/ reports/contractors/visitors) (Working to RAG systems) Monitoring of mapped quantities in active locations to support system driven replens Weekly reportable outputs to stock and system manager to escalate to SLT and/or KPI meeting

Experience, skills and attributes

:


A good command of the English language to include, comprehension, verbal and written ability and excellent interpersonal skills. Forward thinking, enthusiastic team player focused and driven by success. Ability to analyse and interrogate raw data. Ability to work on your own initiative, working to strict deadlines, prioritising workload. PC literate with intermediate level of Excel. Ability to work under pressure and flexible in approach. Good awareness of health and safety.
