Why This Role
The Warehouse Operations Team Leader plays a vital role in ensuring efficiency, quality control, and smooth workflow across our warehouse. Supporting the Warehouse Manager and leading the team on alternate shifts, this hands-on role ensures our high standards are maintained at every stage -- from cleaning and packing to order fulfilment and dispatch. You'll also help identify simple, smart improvements that make our processes faster and better.
Key Responsibilities
Act as Duty Manager on alternate shifts, supervising warehouse, washing, cleaning, and packing teams.
Support daily workloads, rostering, and ensure all tasks are completed accurately and on time.
Drive our van for deliveries and collections when required.
Oversee quality control during the cleaning and packing of tableware to maintain TSK's premium standards.
Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors.
Support stock management, including leading sections of the bi-annual stock take.
Help train new and temporary team members in correct procedures and safety standards.
Maintain a tidy, organised, and safe working environment.
Skills & Experience
Essential
Team player with experience working collaboratively in a warehouse, production, or fast-paced operational environment.
Strong problem-solving skills, able to spot and resolve issues quickly and effectively.
Hands-on and proactive, comfortable with physical work such as cleaning, packing, and moving stock.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality control.
Reliable and dependable, able to take initiative and act as a trusted deputy in management's absence.
Full, clean UK driving licence; confident driving large vans (LWB or similar) across London, with good knowledge of routes and safe loading/unloading practices.
Desirable
Experience as kitchen porter, events, rental, or logistics industries.
Familiarity with warehouse systems or reporting tools (e.g. Monday.com, Booqable, or Google Workspace).
