Intro
We're looking for a skilled
Warehouse Operations Manager
to lead day-to-day operations at our warehouse in Kettering who can start as soon as possible.
Working closely with the Management Team, you'll play a key role in driving performance and efficiency across the warehouse.

We are currently implementing new software systems--including a new ERP platform and an advanced scanner solution--to enhance warehouse digitisation and streamline our core processes.

Our core aspects of the Warehouse Operations Manager role:
Lead the Team
- Manage a team of 16 professionals in a fast-paced environment.
End-to-End Supply Chain Management
- Oversee the full supply chain process, ensuring efficient procurement, inventory control and support demand planning to meet business needs.
Regulatory Compliance & Risk Management
- Ensure full compliance with health & safety, environmental, and industry regulations, mitigating risks across the supply chain.
Warehouse & Facility Oversight
- Manage warehouse operations by ensuring optimal layout and stock movement.
Customer Order Fulfilment
- Oversee sales order processing, ensuring on-time and in-full (OTIF) deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.
Inventory & Stock Control
- Ensure accurate stock levels, reduce waste, and improve inventory forecasting to avoid shortages or overstocking.
Process Improvement & Cost Reduction
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and reduce operational costs without compromising service quality.
What we are expecting
Operations
Ensure all duties within your direct area of responsibility are conducted and completed in a timely manner, resolving common issues through expertise of warehouse operation procedures.
Utilise knowledge of warehouse processes to resolve day-to-day issues in an effective and efficient manner.
Be in constant exchange with the warehouse management team to ensure all daily operational tasks are covered and are completed in line with expected service levels.
Maintain team compliance to all quality, legal and ethical requirements.
To ensure the highest standard of warehouse housekeeping and maintenance of company assets is achieved.
Report on progress against pre-agreed objectives and any project work to support improvements in performance.

Drive a culture of safety - ensure that team members are aware of and understand their responsibility for themselves and others, by role modelling safe behaviours and identifying and reporting risks and opportunities for improvement in safe working practices.

Experience
5+ Years proven Logistics & Supply Chain Management experience across Operations.
An understanding of warehouse management systems and MS office software tools (Excel, Word, Outlook).
This role requires 5 days per week attendance at the site.
