Operations Manager - Newport, South Wales

Full-time | 35,000 - 45,000 + Christmas Bonus

We are a fast-growing, family-run business based in Wales, specialising in e-commerce - primarily through Amazon, with plans to launch on TikTok Shop this year. Operating in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, we're looking for an experienced Operations Manager to help lead and scale our operations.

About the Role:

As Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our business. You'll work closely with suppliers, transport companies, and internal teams to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operational activities across warehousing, logistics, and fulfilment

Drive process improvements to boost efficiency and reduce costs

Manage supplier and transport company relationships

Ensure compliance with operational standards and regulations

Plan and implement new operational strategies and projects

Support the successful launch of new sales channels

Lead cost management initiatives and budget control

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in a similar role

Experience in managing multi-channel e-commerce operations (ebay.Amazon, Shopify, Tiktok Shop)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office

Strong organizational and communication skills

Strong ability to multitask

Comfort working with multiple groups within the business

About You:

We're looking for someone with a strong track record in a fast-paced operational environment - ideally within the parcel or logistics industry (though not essential). You should be a hands-on leader, confident in managing teams and processes, and excited to grow with a business that's scaling quickly.

Strong IT skills would be a distinct advantage (e.g. Excel, order management systems, data analysis) Knowledge of any Eastern European language would be beneficial but not essential
Salary and Bonus:

Salary: 35,000 - 45,000 per year (depending on experience)
