The opportunity

The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day running of the warehouse in partnership with the wider operations leadership team. The role ensures all warehouse activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and quality standards. The postholder will be accountable for achieving departmental objectives and KPIs, while driving continuous improvement in processes, resource utilisation, and team performance to deliver outstanding customer service.


What you'll be doing:


Ensure warehouse operations comply with aviation regulations and company standards. Oversee staff training, regulatory applications, and inspection readiness. Manage audits, implement corrective measures, and ensure stock control accuracy. Monitor quality systems, lead corrective actions, and drive continuous improvement. Uphold health, safety, and housekeeping standards. Develop warehouse Team Leaders, manage resourcing, and resolve employee relations issues. Achieve KPIs, create a positive work environment, and lead process efficiencies. Represent the warehouse at meetings and support cross-functional projects.

About you

Experience in warehouse or quality assurance, preferably in aviation or a regulated sector. Strong people management skills, including team leadership and coaching. Expertise in change management and process implementation. Skilled in stakeholder management and building effective relationships. Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and warehouse management/ERP systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Collaborative with strong teamworking skills. Organised with attention to detail and focus on continuous improvement.
