Job Summary
The Role: Warehouse Operative
This is a hands-on role based in our HMRC-approved bonded warehouse within Aberdeen Harbour. As a key member of our operational team, the Warehouse Operative will be responsible for a range of duties within our warehouse contributing to the smooth, accurate, and timely handling of stock and customer orders.
Key Responsibilities:
Picking and packing customer orders with accuracy and care
Completing relevant paperwork for incoming and outgoing deliveries
Checking stock levels and condition of items to ensure accuracy and quality
Assisting with goods-in procedures, including unloading and organising deliveries
Delivery of orders to customers with professionalism and punctuality
Carrying out general warehouse duties including stock rotation and maintaining cleanliness
Supporting weekend cover as part of a shared rota
Physical Requirements:
The role involves a large amount of manual handling and lifting, so a good level of physical fitness and health & safety awareness is important.
Requirements:
Full, clean UK driving licence (essential)
Confidence in driving the company van and keeping it in excellent condition
Forklift licence (preferred but not essential)
Previous experience in a similar role (preferred but not essential)
High standards of reliability, attention to detail, and personal responsibility
Positive, team-oriented attitude with a focus on excellent service
Background checks may be required due to the sensitivity of documents held
Details:
Full-time, permanent role
8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday to Friday (1-hour lunch break), with weekend cover on a shared rota
29 days holiday, including bank holidays
Enrolment into the Company Pension Scheme
