Overview

We are adding to our team in Middlesbrough who are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative and Driver to join them in handling materials and ensuring efficient warehouse operations, whilst also delivering customer orders. This role ideally requires someone with experience in forklift operation (training will be provided) and a good understanding of warehouse organisation.

Responsibilities

- Utilise forklifts to move materials within the warehouse
- Manage incoming and outgoing shipments, including delivering products to our local customers
- Pack orders accurately and efficiently
- Perform picking and packing duties as required
- Support with maintaining inventory accuracy using warehouse management systems
- Conduct stock counts
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organised warehouse environment
- Keep accurate records and paperwork

Requirements

- Previous experience in a warehouse setting (Desirable)
- Proficiency in forklift operation (Desirable, Training will be provided)
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is advantageous
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfilment processes
- Current Driving Licence

- Computer literate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.70 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
