Warehouse Operative

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our clients dynamic team on a full-time basis. As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facility, contributing to the efficient processing and fulfilment of customer orders. This position requires a high level of accuracy, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Labelling and Packing: + Accurately label products and packages according to company standards and customer requirements
+ Efficiently pack items for shipment, ensuring proper protection and presentation
+ Verify that all items are correctly labeled and match the corresponding order details
+ Maintain a clean and organized packing area to maximize efficiency
+ Adhere to safety guidelines and best practices when handling products and packaging materials
Processing Orders: + Receive and process incoming stock and materials
+ Pick and pack orders accurately and efficiently
+ Use warehouse management systems to track inventory and process orders
+ Perform quality checks to ensure order accuracy before shipment
+ Collaborate with team members to meet daily order processing targets
Working to Specifications: + Follow detailed instructions and specifications for various products and orders
+ Adhere to company policies, procedures, and quality standards
+ Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and other warehouse activities
+ Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy
+ Participate in regular training sessions to stay updated on best practices and new procedures

Hours of work
Monday to Friday 9am-5pm or 8.30am-4.30pmBased on a 35 hour week
