Warehouse Operative

Our Bacup distribution centre plays an important role in delivering products to customers across the UK and worldwide.

We are looking to recruit enthusiastic Warehouse Operatives to join our friendly team at our Bacup distribution centre.


You will be supporting our growing warehouse operations. This is a fast-paced role where you will help shape the customer experience, working as part of an energetic and supportive team.

Responsibilities

Goods In

Receiving deliveries Checking and booking in stock Unloading containers Liaising with other departments to resolve stock queries

Warehouse

Stock replenishment Problem solving stock issues General warehouse duties Maintaining a clean and organised work area Forklift duties (training provided) Using Excel and our Warehouse Management System (WMS) to resolve stock issues Ensuring Health and Safety standards are always maintained Creating custom cables (training provided)

Despatch

Picking and packing orders for customers worldwide Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail when picking and packing orders Presenting parcels to a professional standard to achieve excellent customer satisfaction

What We Are Looking For

Previous warehouse experience is not essential Strong team player Good communication skills Good numeracy, literacy, and IT skills Punctual and reliable Self-motivated Methodical approach to work Good level of physical fitness

Working Hours

40 hours per week, worked across five out of seven days (Monday to Sunday) Standard shifts: 09:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday, and 10:00 to 16:30 on Saturdays (one Saturday per month required) Flexibility required during the busy Christmas period, including occasional extended shifts


Full training and personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety boots, will be provided.
