Job Description

We are looking for a committed, reliable and flexible Warehouse Operative to work within our Logistics Team in Broughshane. The Warehouse Operative will form part of a small team and will contribute to the smooth and seamless operation of our Logistics Department.

Hours of Work

: 8.30am - 5pm Monday to Friday

Main Duties

General warehouse duties to include:

Maintaining the uninterrupted flow of goods in and out of our warehouse

Checking off deliveries, receipting of same onto system and goods out including processing delivery notes on bespoke system (NAV) and using carrier's websites for parcel dispatch and tracking

Preparing and packing orders for dispatch and collection

Performing inventory checks ensuring accurate records are always maintained

Printing delivery notes on company software system (NAV) and scanning signed POD's to shared drive

Communicating and co-operating with colleagues / supervisor

Keeping our warehouse and showroom clear, clean and tidy, ensuring any potential hazards are dealt with quickly and efficiently

Keyholder responsibilities (staggered opening/locking up)

Any other duties required by management.

Candidate

Good level of physical fitness in order to safely undertake the demanding requirements of the role

Ability to work to deadlines and targets, and to effectively prioritise own workload

Flexible, can-do attitude in their approach to work

Exemplary customer service skills

Possess good IT skills and have experience of using computers

Good timekeeping and attendance.

Minimum of 4 GCSE's, including English and Maths (Grades A-C) or equivalent an advantage

The ability to demonstrate working experience in a warehouse environment an advantage

Forklift experience / licence preferred

Reach truck licence preferred

Previous experience of operating bespoke inventory computer software

Possess a full, clean UK driving licence.
