Purpose of the role

Vidara UK is looking for a Warehouse Operatives with a broad skill set in logistics. You will be working closely with our Customer Service Representatives and Operations Manager in order to create a successful base of operations at our new site at Everill Gate, Barnsley.

You have a keen-eye for accuracy

You are level-headed, detail-oriented and can manage fluctuating workloads

You have fluent spoken and written English language skills

You are a proficient and flexible in prioritising tasks, even at short-notice

You have optimal time management skills

You are professional, conscientious and reliable

You are computer literate - system training will be provided

You have some experience in a similar role/environment

You have some knowledge of packaging types and volumes

You are a team player

Principal responsibilities

As a Warehouse Operative, you have the following responsibilities:-

Unloading incoming products into the warehouse.

Loading outgoing products onto delivery vehicles according to schedule.

Safe storage of materials and an understanding of the requirements.

Relabeling - amending the labels of products coming into the warehouse and sending them out as a Ravago product.

Ensuring goods go out in a professional and safe manner.

Stock take

Stock rotation

Aiding with the development of a warehouse site plan, allocating stock locations and updating with the administration team via computer.

Skills and Experience

Forklift Driver Certification (Any accepted above simple familiarisation training)

Health and Safety Awareness Training

Desirable not Essential - Manual Handling Training

Desirable not Essential - NVQ in Warehouse Operations / Logistics

Desirable not Essential - First Aid Training

Desirable not Essential - Fire Marshal Training
