We are a busy truck parts wholesaler looking to expand our warehouse team with 1 suitable operative!

If you enjoy physical work, have excellent numeracy skills and want to be part of a team, this job could be right for you. As a Warehouse Operative, you will be responsible for picking and packing goods and preparing them for dispatch.

Main duties:

taking delivery of goods and supplies checking for damaged or missing items storing goods moving stock around by hand and forklift picking and packing orders keeping paperwork up to date cleaning work areas
The role is 8.30-5.30pm, Monday to Friday with flexibility required and overtime available.

You do not need any specific qualifications for this role, but the following skills / attributes would be beneficial and put candidates at a distinct advantage

a good level of fitness high level of literacy and numeracy skills good teamwork skills the ability to work quickly and well the ability to complete paperwork an understanding of health and safety regulations honesty and reliability
The role is based in Basildon.
