Job Description

Sikla UK is looking for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our team in Belfast, Northern Ireland.

Your key duties and responsibilities

Receiving and processing incoming orders Picking and packing orders Loading and unloading goods Checking the accuracy of deliveries to customers (domestic, export, industrial projects) Reporting mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies immediately Inspecting and maintaining warehouse equipment Ensuring all stock is located in the correct place Working with tight timescales and given deadlines Maintaining a high level of health & safety standards (clean and safe working environment) Prefabricating and cutting Sikla steel components according to drawings Cleaning tools and tidying up the warehouse Following instructions and designated procedures (warehouse Route Card) Assisting with the daily logistics Helping to minimise errors in picking, packing and loading Using the ERP System for small standard processes in the warehouse

Your Profile

Previous experience working in a warehouse environment (preferred) DIY Skills Good metrics and numerical understanding Ability to understand and follow procedures and instructions Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Good understanding of Health and Safety requirements Ability to work independently under pressure and to tight timescales Strong attention to detail Flexibility, multitasking and willingness to learn Good level of English language (reading, writing and speaking) Right to work in the UK Forklift/Combilift Licences (preferential) Driver Licences (preferential)

Package

Working hours:

+ Monday to Thursday from 7.45 AM to 4.45 PM
+ Friday from 7.45 AM to 2.45 PM
25 days annual leave (+ bank holidays) Onsite free refreshments and regular staff lunches A friendly and supportive working environment Initial 3 Months Contract
