Warehouse Operative Required

The Lindum Snack Company Ltd have a position available for a friendly hardworking person in our Warehouse department (Forklift Truck Licence holder would be preferred, but not be essential as training will be given). The successful candidate must me physically strong as heavy lifting is required.

Permanent Position

The position is a single shift (Days), Monday to Friday, 8:00am till 4:30pm with 30 minutes (unpaid) for lunch, this is a total of 40 working hours per week.

The hourly rate for the position is 13.71p per hour.

Overtime would be paid at time and a half (Overtime is subject to availability).

20 days annual leave, plus 8 days UK National Holidays (bank holidays) each calendar year.

Please note we do not pay sick pay.

Good spoken and written English is essential.

Transport is NOT provided.

Main duties would include.

Collating / Mixing bulk stock from the warehouse, ready for production and recording Lot / Batch code.

Stock rotation.

Loading & unloading vehicles.

Taking samples from deliveries.

Collating orders ready for dispatch.

Wrapping pallets & labelling with goods out documentation.

Keeping the warehouse / loading area clean and tidy, general housekeeping.

Pre-start inspection checks for the Forklift Truck(s).

Ensuring all QC documentation is completed in the correct manner.

Other Duties

Loading bins / hoppers ready for production.

Cleaning equipment & utensils.

Assisting on production lines

Assisting in packing areas.

Plus a number of other small duties.

The Lindum Snack Company was established in 1991, manufacturing and supplying Peanuts, Nuts, Confectionery and Savoury Snacks into the leisure sector. Our site is located on the outskirts of Boston, Lincolnshire, in the small village of Cowbridge PE22 7DJ.
