Summary of role: helps doing the picking of the box picks and is responsible for the quality control on all box picks and taking of pictures.

Responsible for all production in the Aluminium, prep areas to ensure all production is completed on time and in good condition, also to cover when needed on all other stations.

Key Responsibilities:

Box pick. Checks and QC and take pictures of all box picks and extras where possible. Checking and booking in goods in. Putting stock away in the correct locations. Scanning out of works orders and extras on the handhelds. Counting of stock when asked as well as counting at stock take. Highlighting any stock issues. All production including making of fixing kits and rolling the felt to length. Helping out as and when needed with the bar length orders. To ensure that all allocated tasks are completed as per Production Plan and meets with the manufacturing date. To work to drawings/cutting lists. Highlight specification issues to Supervisor/Manager. Update Work Plan in a timely manner.

Qualifications and Skills:

Attention to detail Interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. A proactive and problem-solving mindset. Knowledge of roofing products and materials is a plus.

Maintenance:

Any machines under your responsibility are checked according to Daily, Weekly and Monthly check sheet as instructed by your Supervisor and set by the Production Manager.
