: Warehouse Operative- Stock Control

Location of Role:

Carnbane, Newry

Role Purpose:

To accurately maintain the stock file, limit impact on Service level and improve stock accuracy.

Accountable to:

Inventory Section Lead

Responsibilities



Completing accurate stock taking throughout the warehouse, providing feedback to the stock control supervisor on any issues. Investigate drops from Nightshift to ensure accurate stock levels. Providing feedback to Supervisor on any issues regarding created drops. Supporting Supervisor on locating or moving of bin locations Completing full racking checks in line with PI count cycle. FLT operating for correcting and checking bulk storage. Maintain damages area, ensuring it kept clear. Maintain returns area, ensuring credits are processed in a timely manner. Review missed sales reporting investigating any issues providing feedback to supervisor. Communicate any stock issues with the Replenishment Department ensuring they are addressed as quickly as possible. Continually improve stock operations by recommending measures to improve quality of service and efficiency. Maintain a safe working environment that complies with all aspects of the company's H&S Policy To act as an ambassador for Savage & Whitten and behave in a professional and courteous manner at all times.

Criteria



Essential

Grade C or above in GCSE Maths and English 1 years or more experience recent experience working within a stock control function or similar environment. Experience working with Warehouse and stock management systems. FLT licence reach truck Strong analytical and problem-solving ability. Excellent People Management skills Excellent communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work individually or as part of a team. Excellent planning and organisational skills Proficient in the use of Microsoft Packages. Ability to implement and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Able to demonstrate the application of continuous improvement techniques Results orientated Team Player Customer focused Perform well under pressure Organized and efficient.

Desirable

NVQ in Warehouse Management Forklift Counterbalance (preferred)

Circumstances

As when required and travel to other sites on occasions. Undertake training
