Warehouse Operative



We are looking for a hardworking and reliable Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out various warehouse duties, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety at all times.

The shifts are on a rotating basis between the following patterns:

A: Mon-Thu 8:00-16:00 Fri 6:00-14:00

B: Mon-Thu 06:00-16:00

C: Mon-Thu 14:00-00:00 (once every five weeks)

The training rate is 12.21 per hour and there is fantastic opportunity to increase your earnings as you pass probation, and learn other elements of the role.

Key Responsibilities



Receiving and inspecting incoming goods to ensure quality, quantity, and condition match delivery notes or purchase orders. Labelling and storing materials appropriately within designated areas. Reporting damaged or missing stock to the Material Planning team. Taking a lead in cycle counting and supporting inventory audits. Completing delivery paperwork, internal stock movement forms and spreadsheets/computerised records. Supporting production or fabrication teams by preparing materials for jobs. Assisting in yard operations, including loading/unloading larger items stored externally. Participating in continuous improvement initiatives, such as improving workflow or layout to boost efficiency. Helping to train new team members or temporary staff on warehouse procedures and safety protocols. Picking and packaging customer parts for post.

Skills & Experience



Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential. Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically active environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team A positive attitude, good work ethic, and attention to detail A valid forklift licence is preferred but not essential.
