Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and organised Warehouse Operative / Store Keeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively.

Hours of Work (38.5hrs per week)

Monday to Thursday : 07:15-16:00
Friday : 07:15-12:45

Responsibilities

Pick, check, store and pack goods to a high standard of accuracy. Load and unload vehicles safely and in line with company procedures. Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to provide assistance and resolve any issues. Maintain equipment and all activities in a good and safe working condition. Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times. Compliance with all quality documents and procedures. Compliance with Company safety procedures and housekeeping requirements. Observe time keeping and absence procedures.

Experience , Skills & Attributes

Sound understanding of warehouse operations and computer stock control systems. At least 2 years practical stores/warehouse experience is essential. RTITB qualified forklift driver for reach and counterbalance trucks. Good communication skills and the ability to speak, read, and write basic English. Able to follow instructions and work accurately. Able to work under pressure to targets and deadlines. Basic computer literacy and experience of data inputting. Awareness of Health and Safety regulations, including manual handling. Able to work as part of a team. Good work ethic, reliability and honest approach. Good attendance, punctuality and a great attitude to work. Attention to detail. Self-motivated and have a dedicated approach.
