The Role
We're on the lookout for an experienced and reliable
Warehouse Operative
to support our day-to-day warehouse operations. You'll play a key role in maintaining smooth stock movement, championing site safety and occasionally assisting with local deliveries across the Cotswolds.
This is a
hands-on, fast-paced
role ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, variety and being part of a close-knit team in a dynamic brewery environment.
Key Responsibilities
Stock Control & Inventory Management
Accurately receive, store, and pick stock using internal systems.
Own the goods-in/out. process and ensure 100% process adherence.
Conduct regular stock counts and assist with full stock takes/ audits.
Own and improve stock accuracy in the warehouse.
Forklift & Reach Truck Operations
Safely operate counterbalance forklift and reach trucks to move kegs, raw materials and finished stock.
Ensure all movements are logged correctly and efficiently
Health & Safety Leadership
Champion a strong health & safety culture on site
Report near-misses, complete checks and support training initiatives.
Keep work areas clean, organised, and compliant.
Local Deliveries & Driving
Assist with or independently complete daily deliveries across the Cotswolds
Load/unload goods from the van and ensure timely, friendly service
Maintain delivery records and vehicle checks when required.
Team Support & Flexibility
Support production, taproom, and events teams when needed
Be adaptable and hands-on during peak periods (e.g., launches, festivals)
Requirements
Valid Forklift & Reach Truck Licences (Counterbalance + Reach up to 5t)
Previous warehouse experience (ideally in FMCG, brewing or logistics)
Clean UK driving licence - confident van driver (up to 3.5t)
Strong attention to detail and ownership mindset
Physically fit - able to lift kegs and work on your feet
Positive, proactive attitude with a team-first approach
Desirable (But Not Essential)
Previous experience in brewing or food & drink.
Experience delivering to hospitality venues (pubs, taprooms, etc.)
First aid or health & safety training (e.g. manual handling, COSHH)
