All About the Role

Based at our Dragon Steel Services, Saltney site the purpose of this role is to ensure customers' orders are fulfilled to the highest standards in a fast-paced environment.The shift hours are Monday to Thursday 8 am to 4.45pm, Fridays 7 am to 3.45pm

Specific tasks will include:

Pick computer generated orders with repetitive handling/lifting of heavy and large item. Loading, cutting (Saws) and offloading of steel. Ensure all documentation is correctly actioned for accuracy of stock. Transferring stock to its location using a Forklift truck. Assisting in the overall production and dispatch of customers' orders Keep work area clean and tidy maintain high levels of Health and Safety. Be adaptable and flexible in approach to work to meet operational requirements. Operate machinery (only when trained to do so) Any ad hoc duties as required in the role.

Essential Skills for the role:

The successful candidate will have experience as a Warehouse Operative; steel industry or heavy industry experience would be an advantage. Have a flexible attitude, be results oriented, and enjoy working in a team environment. Bandsaw/Overhand Crane/ Fork-Lift experience desirable, however training will be given. A strong commitment to Health & Safety. Ideally a Driving License Looking for a long-term position
