The Role

We are looking for a motivated and reliable

Warehouse Operative

to join our team at our

Chester

site. You will play a key role in managing and handling food stock, ensuring that all ingredients and products are stored, rotated, and distributed correctly in line with food safety and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive, check, and store deliveries of food stock and packaging. Ensure correct stock rotation and accurate record-keeping. Pick and prepare stock for production lines and dispatch. Maintain cleanliness, order, and food hygiene within the warehouse area. Assist with regular stock checks and inventory reporting. Work closely with production and logistics teams to ensure smooth operations. Follow all company health & safety and food safety procedures.

Requirements:

Previous warehouse or food production experience preferred (training provided). Good attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under time pressure. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling. Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player. Willingness to work the 4 on / 4 off shift pattern (9am - 9pm).
