Role Overview:



As a Warehouse Operative, you will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. You will be responsible for handling incoming and outgoing shipments, organizing inventory, and ensuring the overall smooth functioning of warehouse activities.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:



Receiving, unloading, and checking incoming deliveries against purchase orders or invoices. Accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment to customers. Maintaining proper stock levels and conducting regular stock checks and audits. Organizing and arranging products within the warehouse to optimize space and accessibility. Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse machinery in a safe and efficient manner (if applicable and certified). Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies. Keeping the warehouse clean, organized, and hazard-free. Collaborating with other team members to fulfil orders and meet deadlines. Assisting in conducting regular inventory counts and reconciling discrepancies. Reporting any inventory or equipment issues to the warehouse manager. Any other reasonable duties as required. Tasks may vary by site.

Two working patterns available:

Days - 4 on 4 off, 7am-7pm

Nights - 4 on 4 off, 7pm-7am


Skills:



Previous experience working in a similar warehouse environment. Basic computer skills for inventory management and order processing. Proven work experience as a Warehouse Operative or similar role. Ability to handle physical demands, including lifting heavy objects and working in varying temperatures. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and tools. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team. Knowledge of health and safety procedures within a warehouse environment. Forklift or other relevant machinery certification (if applicable). A proactive and flexible approach to work with the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
