Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker / Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse by performing various tasks related to materials handling, stocking, and shipping & receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The role will be 80% warehouse based and 20% driver for deliveries.

Duties

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Goods inwards, checking in deliveries from suppliers. Utilise a warehouse management system to track inventory and manage stock levels. Handle materials with care, ensuring proper storage and organisation within the warehouse. Perform stocking duties, including replenishing shelves and organising products for easy access. Assist in picking & packing orders accurately for shipment. Conduct deliveries to customers timely and efficiently. Participate in shipping & receiving activities, including loading and unloading lorries. Cutting cable to customer requirements. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Conduct regular inventory checks and assist with stock audits as required. Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.

Qualifications

Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not mandatory. Full driving licence. Fork truck licence (or lapsed licence proof required). Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) as required by the role. Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks performed. Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
