Job Description

The warehouse operative (Merchandise) plays an important role in supporting the warehouse team by ensuring that products such as t-shirts, hoodies, water bottles, notebooks etc. are efficiently received, stored and distributed in line with the company standards.



This full time permanent position will be working 5 days a week from our Newbridge, Edinburgh Operation Monday to Friday from 8.30am - 4.30pm will work as part of a team dealing with all goods and products that come into the warehouse. The successful candidate will be taking delivery of goods and supplies, picking goods for dispatch and picking and packing orders. You will also maintain a clean, tidy and safe environment.



Key Responsibilities & Duties





Accurately pick orders against sales order sheets

Preparing clothing by swing tagging and barcoding items ready for dispatch

Carry out regular stock checks, counting stock against the warehouse management system

Update relevant computer programmers to track movement of goods

Receive goods in through the warehouse management system

Follow workplace health and safety rules when handline goods

Operate the forklift and counterbalance machines to move stock around the warehouse
