Role Summary



We're looking for a

Skilled Warehouse Operative

to join our high-performing operations team. This hands-on role is responsible for supporting efficient warehouse operations including goods receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and stock control. You'll play a crucial role in our supply chain and ensure that customer orders are fulfilled accurately and safely.

Key Responsibilities



Goods In/Out

: Unload and receive deliveries; check against purchase orders; update stock control systems.

Pick, Pack, Ship

: Accurately pick products, prepare them for dispatch, and ship in line with customer and carrier requirements.

Kitting

: Assemble kits from BOMs (Bill of Materials) for production or customer-specific requirements.

Stock Control

: Conduct regular stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and maintain accurate inventory using WMS or stock control software.

Warehouse Housekeeping

: Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment according to 5S and Lean principles.

Health & Safety

: Follow site safety protocols and assist in H&S improvements.

Compliance

: Adhere to company and legal requirements, including handling of flammable goods and PPE usage.

Driving/Transport

: Assist with driving responsibilities as needed (full UK licence required).

Team Culture

Required Skills & Experience



Proven experience in

warehousing

, including

goods in/out

,

pick/pack/ship

, and

stock control.

Valid

forklift licence

(Counterbalance and/or Reach preferred). Experience using

Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

or stock control software. Comfortable working with

Bill of Materials (BOM)

and

kitting

procedures. Understanding of

Health & Safety

protocols (First Aid or Fire Marshal training is advantageous). Full

UK driving licence.

This role predominantly involves manual handling tasks. Reasonable adjustments will be considered in line with the Equality Act 2010. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
