Purpose
The key focus of the dispatch team is to ensure that all parts are?picked, packaged,?and shipped as required?in order to achieve full customer satisfaction OTIF.

JobTasks
The job holder is expected to proficiently undertake the following tasks:
1. Produce and work from picking lists, to fulfil and dispatch customer orders from an end-to-end basis
2. Processing orders ensuring that the customer SLA & instructions are fully implemented.
3. Responsible for making informed decisions in respect to the shipping options available.
4. Ensure that all orders are fulfilled within specific order cut-off timeframes.
5. Ensure the correct handling, palletising, and store of products in a high standard that does not jeopardise product quality.
6. Ensure all dispatches of electrical and / or hazardous products adhere with EU/UK trading compliances
7. Carry perpetual Inventory counting (Cycle counts) and variance investigations.
8. Ensure all international dispatches adhere with appropriate export documentations.
9. Ensure that the warehouse is always kept clean and tidy, with empty boxes removed from the pick locations ensuring that only one box in location is opened.
10. Potential risks, problems or product defects are to be reported immediately to line manager.
11. Be proactive in reporting to line manager when stationery and packaging materials are running is short supply.
12. To carry out all activities in a manner that promotes safety to yourself and all other colleagues.
13. Participate actively in the introduction of the handheld bar-code scanners & all other continuous process improvements.
14. Seek ways to develop and maximise customer service levels & adhere to high standard of presentation.
15. Support facility in taking on other tasks within the warehouse once trained when requested
16. Ensure all stock is stored in a well organised and tidy manner as per the company standard.
17. Adhere to the departmental plan and support the strategies applicable to the change for continuous improvement.
