Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. Utilise a warehouse management system to track inventory and manage stock levels. Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently. Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage. Assist in shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation. Maintain an organised warehouse environment, including stocking shelves and managing inventory layout. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and perform basic maintenance as required. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of tasks and adherence to safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is preferred, with a strong understanding of materials handling processes. Familiarity with warehouse management systems, particularly AS400, is advantageous. Mechanical knowledge is beneficial for troubleshooting equipment issues. Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift. Experience in construction or similar fields may be considered an asset. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
