We are currently looking for an enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to support the effective running of the warehouse operation, including inbound and outbound across in our Northampton site (NN4 5FB).




This is a full-time position with permanent afternoon shifts from Monday to Friday, 14:00 to 22:00. The salary for this role is 26,040, plus an 800 late shift allowance and a 1,400 warehouse supplement per annum.

We are looking for someone who can assist the Warehouse Team Leader and step in as acting Supervisor when needed. The successful candidate will need to successfully complete an enhanced background check and provide a fully checkable work history for the past five years.

Be willing to step up as acting team Leader as and when required As directed, safely handle products (weighing between 10-15kgs) through all inbound and outbound processes, ensuring all company procedures are adhered to Ensure all goods are handled in the correct manner to ensure that damage to kept to a minimum and manual handling techniques are followed to prevent injury and harm Carry out any other reasonable requests to support the effective running of the warehouse Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered to, including PPE, escalating any concerns to your line manager at the earliest opportunity Ensure all equipment checks are carried out in accordance with procedure, raising any defects to your line manager Ensure any concerns, issues or variances to instructions are immediately communicated to your line manager to allow appropriate action to be taken at the earliest opportunity



Key requirements:


Good understanding of both written and verbal English Current Reach truck licence essential Previous warehouse experience essential Supervisory experience beneficial Awareness of manual handling techniques Work within temperature-controlled environment and pharmaceuticals is beneficial Must be able to work permanent afternoon shifts (14;00 - 22:00) Flexibility to work over times and to attend call outs where required Ability to work as part of a team Must be able to pass a DBS (criminal record) check and provide a 5-year checkable work history
