Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and efficient Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in warehouse operations and possess the skills necessary to manage various tasks efficiently. This role involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and the ability to handle heavy lifting are essential.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently Utilise warehouse management systems for inventory tracking and management Handle materials with care, ensuring proper stocking and storage Assist with shipping and receiving duties, including loading and unloading goods Perform picking and packing of orders accurately to meet customer requirements Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure stock accuracy Collaborate with team members to optimise workflow and efficiency

Requirements

Previous warehouse experience is highly desirable Proficiency in materials handling techniques Familiarity with warehouse management systems, preferably AS400 Mechanical knowledge is an advantage for troubleshooting equipment issues Experience in construction or related fields is beneficial Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 25 kg) consistently throughout the shift Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment
