Warehouse Operative

The Warehouse Operative is a key role in ensuring we deliver projects on time. You must be hardworking and enjoy the physical challenge of stacking items on pallets, wrapping and loading them for transport - it is often like Jenga! You need to be willing to help, proactive, adaptable and have good time /task management skills. Your daily tasks will include loading and offloading deliveries, picking and packing stock to be sent out for delivery and ensuring our team has everything ready for installations.

Responsibilities:

Working very closely with Warehouse manager and Logistics administrator

Picking and Packing efficiently

Goods In Checks (quantity, quality, transit damage)

Keeping warehouse and workspace clean and tidy

Taking and uploading photos of stock as proof of despatch

Flagging stock issues and discrepancies

Forklift truck unloading and loading trucks and lorries in a safe manner

Forklift checks and operator maintenance

Assist with facilities compliance checks

Breaking down stillages and other packing materials for disposal or recycling

Locking up the warehouse at the end of the day

Assembling samples / building mock ups of standard, bespoke and new products

Occasional site installation assistance

Experience

Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with stock management practices and materials handling techniques. A valid forklift licence is desirable but training may be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: 25,000.00-30,000.00 per year
