Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative to support the smooth running of warehouse operations. The role involves receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching goods accurately and efficiently, while maintaining a safe and organised working environment.

Key Responsibilities

Receive, check, and store incoming deliveries. Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for dispatch. Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently. Conduct regular stock checks and maintain accurate records. Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. pallet trucks, forklifts - training may be provided). Ensure the warehouse remains clean, tidy, and compliant with health and safety standards. Report any damages, shortages, or safety concerns promptly.

Skills & Experience

Previous warehouse or logistics experience desirable but not essential. Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Basic numeracy and literacy skills for order picking and stock management. Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling tasks. Forklift licence is an advantage but not required.
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.60 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week

Work Location: In person
